EMS of LeFlore County provides 911 and inter-facility transport to over 40,000 residents with 1500 sq. miles. In 2009, EMS of LeFlore County responded to over 5200 calls for service. We operate 6 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances staffed by highly trained EMT's and Paramedics equipped with cutting edge lifesaving equipment and medications.

Congratulations to Supervisors Keith Lickly and Anthony Stankewitz on winning the 2013 Emergency Expo EMS Competition. They beat 4 other teams to take the title.


EMS Director David Grovdahl and Paramedic James Parker took 2nd place in the competition held September 21, 2013 at Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau.

Saint Francis Health System recognized EMS Director David Grovdahl as the 2013 C.T. Thompson Humanitarian of the Year for Excellence in Trauma Care at their annual Trauma Symposium held on September 26, 2013 in Tulsa.
